Refund Policy

Unfortunately, there are circumstances that may demand that we refund all or part of your tuition to you.  This is just part of doing business.  Please find our refund policies below, and understand that we would prefer to have you be happy with the services we provide over all else.

We cancel a class

If we decide to cancel a class, please understand that the circumstances must be out of our control. We have a history of teaching as few as 1 or 2 people in a class, so it’s probably not going to be due to class size. In this scenario, we will offer to refund 100% of your tuition (we would absorb any fees or taxes), or offer to reschedule you in a future class.

Refunds more than 7 days before a class starts

If you request a refund for a class that is more than 7 calendar days from starting, we will refund 100% of the tuition price (minus any transaction fees, if any).  This is a “No questions asked” policy.  You want a refund, you got it.  We may try to get you to transfer to another future class, but if you tell us you just want a refund, we will back off.

Refunds less than 7 days before a class starts

If you request a refund for a class that is 7 calendar days, or less, from starting, we will refund 80% of the tuition price you paid.  We will likely highly suggest you transfer to another future class, so you don’t lose any of your tuition, but this will be your choice, not ours.

Refunds after a class starts

If class starts and you do not show up for class, we reserve the right to claim your tuition as a retainer for the trainer’s time.  The trainers do not work for free, and if we schedule them for a class, they WILL show up, and we need to pay them.  We hope you can see the position we are in here.  In this scenario, the best course of action for you would be to reschedule the class at a future date – but, 2 no-shows will completely forfeit your tuition.

Refunds after you have been removed from class

If class has already started, and the trainer removes you for class for any reason (bullying/harrassing other students, not participating in class, not paying attention to class, disrupting class in any way, etc.), this refund policy serves as your notice that we regard your tuition as forfeited – it will not be refunded in part or in whole.  We take our classes very seriously, we expect our students to do the same.

Refunds when we have tried to contact you, but you are not responding

Our policy here used to be very strict.  It would result in you completely forfeiting your tuition if you don’t get in touch with us within 2 days after class was scheduled to be completed, your intent needed to be rescheduling with us.  These days, since COVID-19…  We are working with students on a case-by-case basis.  We will be asking you a series of questions that determine whether you will receive a full, partial, or no refund.  Please be honest about you situation.
